The woman who owned the hotel was super friendly and helpful! She gave great recommendations on where to go and what to see in the area. The breakfast was one of the best parts of the stay - homemade pastries and sandwiches! The hotel was in a great location for exploring the surrounding area - close to the beach and other key tourist attractions.
The town itself could have used a little bit of TLC - some of the buildings could have used a fresh coat of paint and there weren't as many trees as I would have liked. But overall, it didn't detract from the hotel itself and the woman who owned it made up for any shortcomings in the town.
